Lots of preparations are going into the First ausDoCC Fundraiser happening this weekend in my local town in Country Victoria and I am very pleased to announce that the local media has jumped on board and has assited greatly in getting the fundraiser news out there, and spreading some much needed awarenss of Disorders of the Corpus Callosum. Of-course, as local news, they like to highlight the ‘who’ of the story, but thats okay because the ‘who’ is just simply so cute (and I’m not biased at all… Well maybe a little).
Television
Matilda and I featured on ‘Weeknights’ – an evening local news program for the Goulburn Valley Area. Weeknights upload their recent shows to their website, so for those interested stay tuned to www.weeknights.com.au and look for the program aired on the 1st of October.
Newspaper
In today’s local newpaper – Shepparton News, Matilda and I can be found on page 7. The information is limited, but concise and gets the message across.
We are also lucky enough to be featured in another local paper tomorrow ‘The Numurkah Leader’, and I hear the reporter will be heading to the event also!
I will be sure to provide links to the articles and news story when our website is fully developed and we include our ‘In the news’ page which will plan to feature links to all ausDoCC related Media and no doubt introduce many of the committee and member faces to to the public!
